Oh the Blues I hear you sing
Christmas is so near
Snow on the ground
Smoke fills the air from chimney tops

It's a Blue Christmas this year

There is a feeling of emptiness
Memories of peppermint kisses
Mistletoe above the door ways

It's a Blue Christmas without you
A beacon of moon light
Guides your Black Limo in flight
A big red sack in the back
Filled with gifts of love and joy

With all the love that's in my heart
And the season's so close
A special message I give you

Though Blue the Christmas's are each year

I wish you my Dear Elvis
